It has been a busy start to the year in Rahinston!

We were delighted to welcome our first colt by Excelebration out of Bless You, who is owned by two long standing clients.

Jumbo John had a very encouraging return to the track after over a 900 day absence! He ran in Gowran Park on Thyestes Day under Ben Dalton in the Martinstown Opportunity Handicap Hurdle. We hope to run him again in the next few weeks.

On the sales front, we sold a beautiful homebred Court Cave X Swinley Bottom colt in the Tattersalls February NH Sale. He was purchased by a great friend of Chich, John Walsh.

On the same day we also sold a well bred Milan X Greenfieldflyer colt for a client. The purchaser was Roxborough Stud and we wish them both the best of luck in their new ventures.

Keeping up to speed on the farm is a bit like building the Forth Road Bridge, as soon as its finished it needs to be done again! We continue to upgrade and put in new facilities and our latest addition to the farm is an all weather paddock which has gone into the cleared out wall garden. This will be ideal for mares and their new foals for turn out.
